About The Program

Our programs are focused on a holistic child led approach, using the natural world around us combined with learning strategies developed by an early childhood educator. I use the combination of nature, play and relationships by weaving the connections to the educator, children and families which provides the opportunity for development, learning,  growth and building opportunities to gain mental and creative energy and learn about the natural world around us. LEAP into Play is an ongoing program that runs all year long. Growing an Artist, Music and Movement and Rhyme Time with Story Time are programs that will be offered in 2025.

 Our Program

Our program is designed in a holistic and strength based aspect. The focus of the program is to take the interests of the children and develop learning strategies to create a learning environment that will set young children up for success. The holistic aspect of the program consists of a relationship based approach with a trustful, caring understanding adult. It uses the natural part of our world to give children opportunities and experiences to learn, develop and grow. The strength based aspect of the program is about designing the program to build on children's strengths. It is to take what a child can do and work towards building their potential. Both the holistic and strength based approach is used together with family and community. Family and community are important in any program as family and community are vital parts of our world.

Early Learning

The overall program is learning through play, curiosity and exploration that ignites a passion for children to become lifelong learners. Early learning is a vital component of children's brain growth. Young children between the ages birth and six years old have rapid brain growth. During this brain growth there are critical periods that when utilized can grow the potential of the child. Offering experiences using a holistic education, in a caring trusting relationship will create opportunities for this brain growth and future development. The focus of early learning is not results based, it is growth and development based. Early Learning is not what children can't do but what they can do, it focuses on a holistic, strength based theory.
