What is an Educator: An educator is a reflector in their own personal learning and in the educating of others. Educators are not only the teachers but the learners.
The educator's role is one of being in connection and relationship with children, families and colleagues.
The educator is the documentor who pieces together the learning moments, schemas, and helps put them into action building upon the learning that is happening.
The educator understands the dance of learning and know's when to step back and not interrupt play, and when to step in to help encourage or ignite a spark for learning moments.
